著者について

Rayven T. Hill was born in 1954 in Markham, Ontario. He has had a variety of occupations and careers since then, spending the last fourteen years as a computer programmer and web site designer.

His first novel, written in 1960, was an instant hit with his mother and one sibling. He then put his career as a novelist aside for half a century to concentrate on making a living, but has now ventured back into the world of writing.

His first real novel, Blood and Justice, was published as an eBook in June 2013.

He lives with his wife in Toronto.

I intended to write a glowing review on Rayven Hill's book #5 JUSTICE OVERDUE but got caught up reading his book #6 JUSTICE RETURNS before I had a chance. I got riveted into the book and forgot the review of #5. I just finished #6 and am now diving into his book #7 PERSONAL JUSTICE so I'd better do the review on JUSTICE RETURNS before I dive into it. My reviews of all his books are really just a carbon copy of the reviews I wrote on some of his earlier books. He avoids the crash and grab or shoot 'em up style authors and leads you into a small family business of PI's. Slowly but subtlety he leads you into a believable plot that increases in intensity the deeper you go into the book. It's riveting. He's like no other author I've read recently and I intend to finish reading all his book. I suggest that if you haven't started reading Mr. Hill's books yet, start with his book #1 to familiarize yourself with his style and characters. You'll be eager to go up through his entire list of books. He's got me hooked.

Well this one was surely different from the previous books in the series -
"Yes it surely was"! However it was a very good read with a surprising but logical twist at the quite satisfactory ending that I didn't see coming but which surely wasn't hidden throughout the story!
At the very least it answered some of the questions arising in the earlier books. Jake and Annie are getting to be pretty good detectives and there is, as usual, lots of action. Sometimes I find myself feeling very sorry for Lisa Krunk who just never gets her big exclusive story. "Yes I surely do"! Maybe she should take some notes from Lon Cohen and make friends with Jake and Annie! Anyone know the ETA for "Silent Justice? Great series

This is the sixth book I was waiting so long, start with the first one, and it's free. Annie and Jack lives in beautiful Canada, but I think they should move to US. They can carry guns, Pepper spray or have other protection equipment, even they can strap ruffles on their shoulders in some states. Don't like these laws, but they won't be hurt. Also Jeremy's father won't be jailed for life, because he killed the burglar in his home. Sad story, maybe he would have been different if he had his parents by his side. Annie and Jack did their job again.
