Rayven T. Hill was born in 1954 in Markham, Ontario. He has had a variety of occupations and careers since then, spending the last fourteen years as a computer programmer and web site designer.

His first novel, written in 1960, was an instant hit with his mother and one sibling. He then put his career as a novelist aside for half a century to concentrate on making a living, but has now ventured back into the world of writing.

His first real novel, Blood and Justice, was published as an eBook in June 2013.

He lives with his wife in Toronto.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. While some spots did stretch credibility somewhat, particularly the Lincoln's relationship with the police, the story was well written with some surprises right out of left field. There is a certain unassuming casual way the author has of writing that gets everything said with a comfortable flow to it that just adds to the unfolding story. It does have a rather neat surprise ending that you won't see coming either. But, all in all, I absolutely enjoyed this book and look forward to more from this author.

This was another freebie from Amazon. It was an excellent read. The writing was good and the plot kept me turning the pages. The story was fast moving. I was kept guessing throughout the book. Hence, the ending was very action packed and I never guessed the climax. I read another book by this author earlier this year Blood and Justice. This author will not disappoint. I will definitely will read more by this author.
